Award
Villa Architecture Magazine invites Iranian architects and designers to submit their works for the 3rd Biennial Villa Magazine Architecture Award. The award recognizes outstanding projects in the field of architecture, focusing on built & unbuilt villas, experimental houses, solo houses, and future prototypes.
Eligibility
The award is open to Iranian architects, designers, interior designers, landscape architects, urban planners, and architecture students.
Submission Guidelines
Participants may submit projects in the categories of built or unbuilt suburb villas, urban villas, semi-urban villas, solo houses, experimental houses, gardens, pavilions, small interventions, theoretical explorations, and future prototypes. There is no need to categorize submissions within the project sheets, as all entries will be considered under the villa typology.
Submission Requirements
Two A3 horizontal sheets including plans, sections, façades, sketches, renderings, and a brief description (maximum 250 words).
One A4 vertical Word document containing the project description in both Farsi and English, along with project information (principal architect*, design team, villa area, site area) and contact details (email, phone number*, and Instagram handle or website).
The entry reference code must appear at the top-right corner of each sheet.
Digital submissions only—no hard copies accepted, in order to minimize environmental impact.

Limitations
There are no restrictions on the number of previous submissions or the project completion date.
All eligible built and unbuilt projects are welcome, regardless of when they were designed or previously submitted.

Criteria
The Villa Award highlights individual villa projects, experimental houses, pavilions, and future prototypes that investigate architecture’s relationship with health, well-being, durability, community, culture, innovation, tradition, affordability, and nature. The award embodies the magazine’s ongoing editorial commitment to villas as expressions of cultural identity, lifestyle, and environmental responsibility.

Receiving 6-digit code: December 3, 2025
Second email submission deadline: December 5, 2025
Jury session: December 8–10, 2025
Announcement of winners: December 15, 2025
Fees
No submission fee. All entries are free for the Villa Magazine Award submission.
